Where did it come from? Where did it go? Cotton-Eyed Joe was never meant to exist, but she persisted against all odds. We transplanted and flowered out a Skunk Hero seedling on a whim, with no plans, expectations, or back-ups. Nearing the end of flower, we realized that our Skunk Hero was something special, with a strong skunky smell and impressively sized buds. Without a backup, we made our first attempt at revegging a cut from a flowering plant. The roots came, and fresh vegetative growth slowly followed. Little did we know that in the bud still attached to the clone was a surprise. Our Skunk Hero clone was pregnant! After transplanting her into a larger pot, our veg room manager made the discovery of a little baby seedling growing along side the Skunk Hero. Taking great care of the seedling to ensure its survival, eventually we were able to cut the seedling and root it up. Is it crossed with our fantastic Chocolate pie male? Our Brunch feminized pollen? We have our theories and educated guesses, but the mystery behind this serendipitous plant only adds to why we love it.
